This project gives a new lease of life to an existing midcentury family home resting on the northern slopes of Remuera.

The visitor’s approach is re-established through the careful addition of a timber clad garage / carport and new covered entry.
Living spaces are opened to views of native bush, and inhabited through a series of layered decks, falling away with the steep site.

Through the addition of a new large multipurpose lower room and the resolution of current structural and weatherproffing issues; a functional and beautiful dwelling is created for this busy family.
